(24 Jul 2080) From the city of Dubai to the townhouses of London, from the hypertechno-boom in Tokyo to the vast urban sprawl of Lagos, the post-scarcity economic boom has had a significant effect among the world population. The transformation began in the 2020s, as most history books would point to the invention of the Spring body tissue synthesis method by students of Oxford University. A series of reforms, discoveries, industrial revolutions and breakthroughs later, the first half of the 21st century ended, and with it, the concept of scarcity. Cultures evolved to fit this sudden evolution of human technology, and all of the sudden, obesity was no longer a problem - it was a lifestyle. DUBAI The city of Dubai rose to fame in the early 2000s as the United Arab Emirates saw the future with less and less demand for fossil fuels. Dubai was born from the former petrodollar kingdom, and its sudden, and surprising downfall caused one of the largest change of social hierarchy in human
